According to GameStop, they will be taking orders for the new Wii before it comes out and they will start writing down names on friday. Which seems logical because we do know that PREORDERS FOR THE WII START THIS WEEK (if you don’t read anything else just understand that). But, to preorder the Wii you must lay down around $25-$50 dollars (which is way less than $100 dollars for the PS3 preorders).

EBGames said that they might be taking this friday but it is undesided (however they say they will start preorders this week as well)

PC to PS3? Oh yeah.

This just in from Sony, Xfire will be allow users to communicate between PS3s..but you already knew that right? Well Sony says that it will also allow users of the PS3 to communicate to gamers on the PC

This is something that the Xbox 360 lacks, which is cross platform communications. Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom will be the first title to incorperate the PC to PS3 communication function.

Sony says that more titles will support PS3 to PC communication as the PS3 comes near launch date.
What Sony didn’t say is if the games actually allow players to play PC gamers and vice versa. Which is something gamers want. Not just cross platform communications…it’s no fun when you aren’t playing each other. I guess we will see when the PS3 comes out.

Superman is brought back by EA

EA said today that they will be releasing Superman Returns The Videogame (To where? Blockbuster? Yeah that was a lame pun) for all systems but the GCN. It would seem like EA hasn’t learned from it’s past failures of Superman games..like the wonderful (not) Superman 64 which was a very very buggy game.

According to EA there will be around 100 missions that have been true to the comics (and not based directly on the movie [that's new]). But EA decided that voice acting was going to be a key element in making this game not equal crap, they monopolised the voices of the actors and their appearence from the movie. I am not completely dissing EA. But sometimes they need to know when to slow down and stop buying everyone out all the time.

But…if superman is invincible…how do you die? Well EA decided that superman can get tired out. So they made it so you would have to watch his stamina levels which get depleted everytime you use a superpower. Superman Returns The Videogame features a recreation of 80 square miles of the city, Metropolis.

The console versions: PS2, PC, Xbox, and Xbox 360 will be rated T while the DS and GBA will be rated E. The game comes out on November 20.

EA has released a demo of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 onto the Xbox Live Marketplace.

The demo is 916.5MB big and features four holes from the final game: the first hole at Princeville, the fifth at Bandon Dunes, the 16th at Firestone Country Club, and the 18th at St. Andrews.

The demo only really features 4 golf holes and one character…who happens to be Tiger Woods suprise suprise. The demo features a really boring tutorial video that demonstrating the game’s new “true aiming” system.

The full version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 for the Xbox 360 releases next week for $59.99.
