E3 ‘splodes
Good bye E3! Today, the ESA, which runs E3, has announced that E3 is gonna be D3 (Dead Dead Demo). ESA said that E3 is no more. But to replace E3 is E4 (which stands for E3 Expo). This expo is not gonna be as wild as E3 [rock concerts, mosh pits, etc].
The way that ESA describes it reminds me of a museum, quiet and all. E3 Expo will also have less companies showing off their products.
This is because the ESA is in the red from this year’s no showers to E3 and because Microsoft, THQ, Sony and EA’s are all demanding for more floor space. Making the total cost of E3 to above $70 million dollars.
Basically, the ESA can’t afford to have another E3 next year so they are making a smaller version of E3 calling it E3 Expo which is totally redundant because the title stands for:
Electronic Entertainment Expo Expo.
Oh well.
