ESRB says it wants to help.
Today, ESRB says that it will join Senators Rick Santorum (R-PA), George Allen (R-VA), and Mark Pryor (D-AR) in a program to “[join together with] leading video game retailers to enhance compliance with store policies regarding the sale of Mature-rated video games and educate customers about ESRB video game ratings, among other initiatives.”
Which is what ESRB says they have been doing for the last…what? 3 years? With their little pamphlets and videos on game demo disks with Tiger Woods talking about choosing the right tool for hitting a golf ball is like choosing the right video game. I don’t think the program was very effective before, why will it be now. It’s not like people will watch the ESRB videos
