Gameboy Micro

Well the GameBoy Micro came out. What a waste of money. The GameBoy Micro is supposed to have slick small design. I say that you shouldn’t buy it. Whoo Hoo you get to put on skins on it. Which is a waste because you can order skins from decalgirl.com (at a price of about $7-20 depending on the system [you can even have them make a customized one for you]) for your Xbox, PSP, PS2, GameCube, DS, and Gameboy Advance/SP. It’s tiny by game device standards, the Micro, which is around $100, is only 4 inches long by 2 inches deep and 0.68 inches thick. In other words it fits in your pocket. The only real reason you should get this toy is if you are a system freak and/or you got alot of money. About 3 diffrent faceplates come with the micro. The battery is rechargable. It’s not wireless you got to get an adapter for that. You also need an adapter if you want to connect a GameBoy Advance SP (or GameBoy Advance) to the Micro.

The good features I see in the Micro are:

  • Small
  • It plays MP3s
  • Lightwight
  • Simple Design
  • Rechargable battery

The not so good features I see in the micro are:

  • You got to buy a cable to hook up the micros
  • You got to buy a seprate cable to hook it up with GameBoy Advance(SP)
  • Its fine point according to nintendo is its faceplates
  • It’s not wireless
  • It doesn’t play DS games
  • Easy to lose
  • Only plays GBA games not older games

So if you really got $100 dollars to spend then you should got buy either a DS or a PSP.

I rate this system a 2/5.
