Nintendo is now giving out free 90 day warranty extensions for Wii systems. All you have to do is register your Wii and you will get a 90-day warranty extension. However, there is a catch. You can’t get the extension if:
- The Wii console serial number has already been registered and received the 90-day warranty extension.
- The Wii console serial number is for a refurbished or remanufactured.
- The Wii console serial number has been reported as a returned system.
- The Wii console was repaired prior to completing the Product Registration process on My Nintendo.
See the promo here. To register for the warranty, just make a My Nintendo account [or login if you have one] and then enter your code in the Wii box on this page.
