World of Warcraft, one the biggest and most popular games out there, will be receiving another expansion in form of Wrath of the Lich King, the second expansion since The Burning Crusade. The news came earlier today at BlizzCon 07, Blizzard’s second convention, and the pack will be sporting a new class- “Death Knight”, the series’ first Hero class. There’s a new profession, Inscription, a new continent called Northrend (home of the Lich King), destructible buildings, siege engines, new character-customization features (hair, skin color, and dances), and new dungeons. Oh, and did I mention you can now go up to level 80, and along the way you’ll gain new abilities? Well, yeah, you can.The skill cap will max out at 450, and the game will feature ten new zones in Northend (and possibly more), including a PVP outdoor area. The story involves the Horde and the Alliance heading north to stop the Scourge, the undead army of Arthas Menethil. As of writing, it is unknown when the expansion pack is set to hit stores.
