Review: Altitude

Altitude is a game that tries really really hard to sell itself. But in reality, it needs all the help it can get. If you only look at the screenshots or trailer, you’ll see that the game looks pretty plain.

That’s because it mostly is. There is not a lot of depth to the game. There are a ton of maps and customization options for your plane but that’s about it. The networking is lacking and good luck trying to find a server that isn’t completely full. Altitude is a well polished but lacking game.

However, it’s fantastic for a short game trip or something to kill time quickly. The AI is semi-intelligent and the game itself will last you about 30 minutes before you move on. But the game is cheap and the gameplay is decent, so if you really want a short game, pick up Altitude, otherwise, you can do better (go with Dogfighter).

Verdict: PASS (probably)
