If you did, you can now play QuickTime videos (you can also IM people, but we already covered that). This means that you can now play videos that end with .mp4, .m4v, mp4v, or .mov. So, you can now watch those big movie files that you downloaded (illegally, we assume) on your Xbox 360. Now if Microsoft would just add .AVI….

i can’t play .m4v videos i purchase from itunes on my 360

That’s because they are have content controls so that you aren’t able to play them on anything but iTunes and Quicktime.

To get around this in older versions of iTunes you could burn the videos to a disk, which removes the protection. Or you could use a (illegal) 3rd party software that removes the DRM called FairPlay
