According to Hudson Soft (the guys that made Bomberman), Ninja Spirit will be releasing on the Wii Virtual Console tomorrow. The game is from the TurboGrafx-16 original version (and not the numerous ports that were made). The game is about you avenging your father’s death from an evil mutant thing. Set in Japan, you must rely on your Ninja skills to kill his murderer. It will be available for 600 points.
WARNING: The following is speculation based off of collected facts. We have reason to believe that tomorrow’s game theme (Nintendo has been slowly getting closer to releasing games that have the same themes [last week was kidnapping]) will be Ninja.
The ESRB has put Ninja Gaiden and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game as other games that are set to release sometime in the near future. It will most likely be one of them, as they are both NES games and Nintendo likes to release games from 3 separate systems.
