Monday will mark Nintendo’s 100th Virtual Console game in the Virtual Console library. Nintendo will be adding Zelda II – The Adventure of Link this Monday.
According to Nintendo, 4.7 million games have already been downloaded and around 1,000 games are downloaded every hour. Which seems pretty good for cheap video games that are for a new system (they are mostly well priced too).
Here are the top games downloaded for the Wii:
1) Super Mario Bros. (NES)
2) Super Mario 64 (N64)
3) Mario Kart 64 (N64)
4) Super Mario World (SNES)
5) The Legend of Zelda (NES)
All of these are no suprise being that they are all classic games. Good to see Super Mario Bros still hasn’t worn out it’s position.
